Know what's due, what's saved, what's safe to spend, and what paperwork needs doing.

Gideon Steward keeps your money, bills, documents, and deadlines in one calm place — before any of them become emergencies.

No credit card required. No ads. No upsells.

Why “stewardship”

A budget tells you where the money went. A steward asks a different question: am I taking care of what I've been given?

Christians believe everything we have — money, time, our home, the paperwork that comes with all of it — is on loan. “The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it” (Psalm 24:1). We aren't owners; we're trustees. And what's asked of trustees, Scripture says, is simply that they be “found faithful” (1 Corinthians 4:2).

That changes how you treat a stack of unopened mail. It changes how you treat the line item for rent, or the receipt for groceries, or the unread notice from the IRS. None of these are accidents. They're things you've been entrusted with, on a particular day, for a particular reason. Faithful stewardship isn't anxious accounting — it's calm, ordered attention to what's in your hands.

Gideon Steward is built around that posture. We don't want to gamify your spending or make you feel guilty about a coffee. We want to make it boringly simple to know what's due, what's saved, what's safe to spend, and what paperwork needs doing — so the steward in you can do the work, and the worrier in you can rest.

Frequently asked

Do you connect to my bank?
Not yet. Steward launches with manual entry and CSV import. Bank connections will come later, and they won't change the price.
Do I have to be a Christian to use this?
No. Stewardship is a Christian framing of why we built it this way, but the tools — bills, documents, deadlines, safe-to-spend — are useful for anyone. We won't preach at you inside the app.
What does “safe to spend” actually mean?
Your cleared balances minus upcoming bills minus a buffer you control. It always errs pessimistic. The first time it's wrong by being too high, trust dies — so we'd rather be conservative.
What if I want help with paperwork I don't want to deal with?
You'll eventually be able to send a task to Gideon Tasks, our marketplace for qualified helpers. We don't take a cut and we don't push you toward it.
Can I export my data?
Yes — anytime, as a ZIP of CSVs plus your uploaded documents.
What if I cancel?
Your data stays available for export for 30 days. After that, it's deleted.
Is this tax software?
No. Gideon Tax does taxes; Gideon Keep is tax-first recordkeeping. Steward feeds them both.
